Nelly, Dan, Vann, Terry, and Jake together with Goerge, Dan’s balikbayan cousin, decided to conduct a research about vampirism and faith healing based from folk fanaticism and cultic practices. In pursuit for the answer to prove the existence of vampirism as a meidical condition, they ventured to the unknown palce to them San Esteban. The object of their study is to interview a cult leader and faith healer known as Amang Kulas.

What caught my attention in this movie was the mysterious story itself. And since vampires and zombies are also the "in" plots nowadays, I feel much curious about what this movie "Amalanhig The Vampire Chronicle" could offer, a Pinoy version of zombie-vampire genre.

There's a sequence at the end of Jun Posadas' Amalanhig: The Vampire Chronicle (yeah there's apparently only one chronicle) that doubles as a music video for the band The Late Isabel.
